Abstract
This article examines the role of the communicative approach and modern pedagogical technologies in developing students’ language competence in English language teaching. The study highlights the practical significance of interactive teaching methods, information and communication technologies (ICT), and learner-centered educational principles. It demonstrates that communication-based classroom activities contribute to increased student motivation, independent thinking, and communicative competence. Furthermore, the article provides scientific and practical recommendations for enhancing the effectiveness of foreign language instruction.
